A veteran of a humanitarian mission in Europe, Yegor Grachev, is unable to find a place for himself in the peaceful life of modern Russia and is sent as a contract soldier to the United States of America, dilapidated by the Atlanteans. Along with him on the team are his friend Semyon Pasyuk, a bandit and a scoundrel who is going to establish criminal connections with his colleagues in the New World, and a hired killer named Stalin, who is pursuing Pasyuk. All three will inevitably have to become the central figures of the secret project "St. John's Wort", intended for the mass destruction of the Atlanteans. Too many people are interested in new weapons, and Russian contract soldiers find themselves in mortal danger. They have to fight not only with alien stormtroopers, but also with those who are eager to obtain at least minimal information about St. John's Wort.

Книга "Влада безодні" захоплює з перших сторінок і не відпускає до самого фіналу. Автор майстерно поєднує елементи наукової фантастики та військової драми, створюючи динамічний сюжет, який тримає в напрузі. Головні герої - Єгор, Семен та Сталін - вражають своєю різноманітністю та глибиною, кожен з них має свої мотиви та цілі, що робить їх надзвичайно цікавими. Ситуації, в які вони потрапляють, змушують задуматися про моральні аспекти війни та людських вчинків. Окремо варто відзначити якість перекладу, яка, незважаючи на деякі недоліки, все ж дозволяє насолоджуватися текстом. Книга залишає багато запитань і бажання дізнатися більше про світ, в якому відбуваються ці події. Рекомендую всім, хто любить напружені пригоди та глибокі сюжети!
