Автор майстерно розкриває риси характеру Лойоли, показуючи його як людину, що поєднує в собі риси святого та політичного маніпулятора. Читач має можливість зануритися в епоху Контрреформації, зрозуміти, як Лойола створив орден єзуїтів і які наслідки це мало для світу. Однак, варто зазначити, що переклад тексту, хоч і в цілому якісний, іноді має недоліки, що може трохи відволікати від читання.
