Головна героїня, сталкер Кат, вражає своєю рішучістю та силою духу, а її подорож через мутантами населені території стає не лише фізичним випробуванням, але й глибоким психологічним дослідженням. Сюжет сповнений несподіваних поворотів, які тримають у напрузі до останньої сторінки. Хоча переклад тексту іноді має невеликі недоліки, це не заважає насолоджуватися історією. Я б рекомендував цю книгу всім любителям наукової фантастики та пригод, адже вона пропонує не лише захоплюючий сюжет, але й глибокі роздуми про людство та його майбутнє.
