Цей роман Браяна Герберта вражає своєю глибиною та продуманістю, адже дія відбувається між двома ключовими книгами оригінальної серії. Автор майстерно відтворює атмосферу всесвіту Дюни, занурюючи читача у складні політичні інтриги та емоційні переживання персонажів. Хоча текст перекладено за допомогою штучного інтелекту, що в деяких випадках призвело до незначних помилок, загалом переклад виявився досить якісним і не заважає насолоджуватися сюжетом.
