Іван де Берг, як центральний персонаж, є яскравим прикладом того, як амбіції та прагнення до влади можуть перетворити людину на бездушну машину. Автор майстерно передає емоційний тягар, який несе Іван, намагаючись зберегти залишки своєї людяності в умовах безжальної війни. Книга ставить важливі питання про моральність, цінність життя та межі, до яких готові йти люди заради досягнення своїх цілей. Хоча переклад не завжди ідеальний, це не заважає насолоджуватися потужним сюжетом і глибокими роздумами, які він викликає. Рекомендую всім шанувальникам наукової фантастики та тих, хто любить філософські роздуми про людську природу!
