A delegation of robots came to Asimov and asked him to repeal the First Law. Robots have mastered too many professions, and now they prevent a literary critic and analyst from giving objective assessments, a surgeon from performing operations, and a secretary from earning extra money on the side.
The story was written in 1989, published in Russian in the anthology “ Cadets of the Academy" in 2002.
The text of the book was translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence program.
