Ця книга - справжня перлина для всіх, хто цікавиться історією та біографіями видатних особистостей. Роман у формі мемуарів королеви Єлизавети Першої дозволяє читачеві зануритися в її думки, переживання та спогади про складні часи правління. Автор вміло передає атмосферу епохи, описуючи палацові інтриги, релігійні війни та особисті трагедії, які формували характер королеви. Особливо вражає, як Єлизавета розкриває свої внутрішні переживання, показуючи, що за титулом великої правительки стоїть жінка з емоціями та страхами. Хоча переклад тексту має деякі недоліки, загалом книга читається легко і цікаво. Рекомендую всім, хто хоче зрозуміти не лише історію, а й людську природу в умовах влади та відповідальності!
