Sergei Fedorovich Budantsev (1896–1939) is a Soviet writer, author of several collections of short stories, novellas and plays. Repressed in 1939. The proposed novel “Locust” is an action-packed work about events in Central Asia. The collection also includes stories by S. Budantsev about the East - “Outpost of India”, “Lunar Month of Ramadan”, “Wife”; about the work of the criminal investigation department - “Cockroach”, “Unequal Marriage”; about the heroes of the Civil War - “School of Courageous”, “Fighting Friend”.
