F. Dürrenmatt is a classic of Swiss literature (born in 1921), an outstanding artist of words, and one of the greatest playwrights of the 20th century. His comedies and detective novels are known to a wide range of Soviet readers. The proposed collection represents the writer’s philosophical and satirical prose, little known in our country; in his novels, novels and short stories, he gravitates towards a parable-philosophical understanding of the world, towards a mercilessly accurate analysis of its condition. The book includes the novel “Justice”, the stories “A Greek Looks for a Greek Woman”, “Accident”, “Lunar Eclipse”, etc., as well as stories written in different years.
