Once upon a time, a wise and just king ruled in Persia. His name was Sharaman. He had two sons, but in his dreams Sharaman saw next to him a son who would love and appreciate him, without harboring hopes for the throne. Therefore, one day Sharaman adopted a street boy, Dastan. The boy grew up and became one of the princes of Persia. But the young man still had no idea what trials fate had in store for him.
