The anthology includes early Christian writings, one way or another related to the image of the Antichrist, the “man of lawlessness,” who, according to the Apostle Paul, should reign before the end of the world. Along with drawing parallels with Judaism and other ancient religions, the book traces the history of the perception of this image in the traditions of the Eastern and Western Churches. Some works are published in Russian for the first time.

Книга "Книга про Антихриста" є вражаючим дослідженням образу Антихриста в ранньохристиянських творах. Антологія пропонує читачеві не лише знайомство з текстами, які раніше не були доступні російською мовою, але й глибоке розуміння того, як цей образ сприймався в різних релігійних традиціях. Автори вдало проводять паралелі між християнством, іудаїзмом та іншими давніми релігіями, що дозволяє заглибитися в історичний контекст та культурні особливості. Хоча переклад тексту в цілому якісний, іноді трапляються некоректні фрази, що може відволікати від загального сприйняття. Проте, це не зменшує цінності книги як джерела знань про складну та багатогранну тему. Рекомендую цю антологію всім, хто цікавиться релігією, історією та філософією, адже вона відкриває нові горизонти для розуміння образу Антихриста в культурі та свідомості людей.
