Книга "Темрява" вражає своєю атмосферою та напругою, яка відчувається з перших сторінок. Автор майстерно створює моторошну обстановку маленького містечка Віллжен, де темні обряди і таємниці переплітаються з повсякденним життям. Історія родини Андерсонів, яка повертається в місто з жахливими спогадами, тримає в напрузі до самого кінця. Особливо вражає, як автор описує емоції та страхи підлітка, який стає мішенню для невимовного зла. Книга не лише про жахи, а й про боротьбу за виживання та сімейні цінності. Незважаючи на деякі недоліки в перекладі, які незначно впливають на сприйняття тексту, я б рекомендував цю книгу всім любителям жанру. Вона залишає незабутнє враження і змушує задуматися про темні куточки людської природи.
