The frivolous Prince Yalan Kendet, one of the many grandchildren of the Red Queen, the powerful ruler of the Red March, became famous as an inveterate gambler, seducer of women and lover of wine. Devoid of ambition, he was quite satisfied with his life, however, in the midst of a war, when hordes of evil spirits led by the Dead King are gaining strength, it is difficult to remain on the sidelines. In addition, fate played a cruel joke on the prince: the Silent Sister, the main assistant of the Red Queen, connected Yalan with the mighty Viking Snorri, who by chance ended up in the Red March. Together with his fellow sufferer, the prince is forced to go to the North, to the homeland of Snorri, and this journey, full of dangers and unexpected encounters, will bring him many unpleasant discoveries.

Книга "Принц блазнів" стала для мене справжнім відкриттям у світі фентезі. Автор майстерно поєднує легковажність головного героя, принца Ялана Кендета, з серйозними темами війни та боротьби за виживання. Ялан, який спочатку здається безтурботним гравцем і спокусником, поступово розкривається як персонаж, що стикається з реальністю та відповідальністю. Його подорож на Північ разом із вікінгом Сноррі наповнена небезпеками, але також і моментами гумору та дружби, що робить читання надзвичайно захоплюючим. Якість перекладу в цілому на високому рівні, хоча іноді трапляються незначні недоліки, які не заважають загальному враженню. Рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто любить фентезі з глибокими персонажами та захоплюючими сюжетами!
