Alicia Jimenez Bartlett is a Spanish writer whose books have been translated into fifteen languages and have won many national and international awards. She became famous for a series of detective novels, the main characters of which were police inspector Petra Delicado and her faithful assistant Fermin Garzon. Both of them are characters who go beyond the canons of the detective genre and are very unpredictable. So, for Petra Delicado, even the most difficult and puzzling investigation does not overshadow matters of the heart.
