Автор майстерно створює атмосферу напруги та таємниці, змушуючи читача переживати разом з Мілою Васкес, яка не тільки намагається розгадати загадку зниклих людей, але й бореться зі своїми власними демонами. Сюжет наповнений несподіваними поворотами, які тримають в напрузі до останньої сторінки. Вражає, як автор зумів поєднати елементи трилера, містики та психологічної драми, створивши глибокий та багатошаровий сюжет. Міла - сильна і складна героїня, з якою легко співпереживати.
