This book is dedicated to the daily life of Montparnasse, one of the most famous districts of Paris, in its most vibrant era - from 1905 to 1930. In those days, such famous writers and artists as Apollinaire, Hemingway, Modigliani, Picasso, Chagall and many others lived and worked here, either dying from poverty or drowning in luxury. The reader learns about how their homes were heated and decorated, what their attitude was to wine and washing utensils, how they made a living, went to visit, joked, gossiped and started fights.
The text of the book was translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence program.
