Цей шостий том праці Сергія Михайловича Соловйова - справжнє джерело знань про один з найважливіших періодів в історії Росії. Автор майстерно аналізує події, що відбувалися в країні в часи правління Василя III та Івана IV Грозного, надаючи читачеві глибоке розуміння політичних, соціальних та культурних змін. Соловйов, як завжди, вражає своєю ерудицією та здатністю зв'язувати факти в єдину картину, що робить його працю незамінною для всіх, хто цікавиться російською історією. Хоча деякі фрази в перекладі можуть бути не зовсім коректними, це не зменшує загальної цінності книги. Я б рекомендував цю книгу не лише студентам історії, але й усім, хто хоче глибше зрозуміти корені сучасної Росії.
