The text in the file differs from the text of the publication with such a cover; another edition of the translation. The North-West publishing house continues to introduce readers to the work of the brilliant American science fiction writer L. Sprague de Camp. The novel “The Hand of Zeya” tells the story of the adventures of two friends - Dirk Barnvelt and the Polynesian Tangaloa on the distant planet Krishna. The deep Middle Ages reign there, and the inhabitants resemble both insects and people at the same time. Terrible monsters live in the forests and rivers, robbers roam the roads, and pirate schooners ply the seas. The novel is easy to read thanks to the excellent author's style, a dashing plot and, of course, inimitable humor.

The text of the book was translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence program. For the most part, the translation of the text is of very high quality, but in some cases, due to the imperfection of the technology, there may be incorrect phrase translations in the text, as well as single words and expressions may not be translated.
