Simon Morrison, a musicologist and professor at Princeton University, wrote a book about Lina Prokofieva, née Caroline Codina, “mysterious, irresistible, haughty, obnoxious, flirtatious, capricious, stubborn and... courageous.” Based on a huge number of documents, the author recreated the life of a beautiful, intelligent, educated woman, a singer who performed under the pseudonym Lina Lubera, the wife of the greatest composer of the 20th century, Sergei Prokofiev, the price of marriage with whom was eight years in the camps.
The text of the book was translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence program. For the most part, the translation of the text is of very high quality, but in some cases, due to the imperfection of the technology, there may be incorrect phrase translations in the text, as well as single words and expressions may not be translated.
