Eldar Ryazanov, a film director and screenwriter, created dozens of film masterpieces for all times: “Carnival Night”, “Hussar Ballad”, “Beware of the Car”, “Office Romance” and, of course, the favorite New Year’s film “The Irony of Fate, or C Enjoy your steam!” The great master loves to stage comedies, although the life of E. Ryazanov does not seem like a comedy at all.
