A pensioner, who has entered the “age of survival”, has outlived all his relatives and friends, is lonely, and goes to his homeland, where he has not been since childhood, to see it for the last time. On the plane, he remembers his youth, his whole life. What was it? What did he grab onto in this world to find satisfaction, and what did this world give him, accidentally turning a sympathetic face towards him? He sees himself on the high cliff where he stood as a child, and below him, or above him, the ocean stretches - something shining, full of infinite meanings. And finds a recipe for depression.
