Dick Francis (b. 1920) is a famous English writer, master of the adventure genre. The former professional champion jockey began his literary career with articles in the Sunday Express. At the same time, he published his first book, “The Sport of Queens” (1957). And his debut in the detective genre was “The Favorite” (1962). The four-volume set includes detective works by Francis.
