As fate would have it (or coincidence, if you prefer), the author of this book worked as a morgue orderly from a young age. That is, day after day he buried his people. Ця книга - справжній шедевр, який відкриває завісу на одну з найменш обговорюваних професій у суспільстві. Автор, через свій особистий досвід роботи санітаром у морзі, зумів передати всю глибину емоцій і переживань, які супроводжують цю роботу. Читачі стають свідками не лише фізичних аспектів професії, а й психологічних, адже автор ставить важливі питання про природу смерті і роль санітара в суспільстві. Чи є він просто технічним працівником, чи, можливо, провідником у потойбіччя? Ця книга змушує нас замислитися про цінність життя та про те, як ми ставимося до смерті. Незважаючи на деякі недоліки в перекладі, які незначно впливають на сприйняття тексту, я б рекомендував цю книгу всім, хто готовий заглибитися у складні теми і не боїться відвертих роздумів про людську природу. Це не просто книга, це досвід, який залишає слід у серці.
