The book tells about the Ukrainian history of the creation and development of bodies and systems of special types (encrypted documentary, government and confidential) communications in the structure of the KGB of the Ukrainian SSR, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), the State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine and in the Transcarpathian region in particular, as well as about the facts of SBU eavesdropping on telephone conversations and methods of monitoring communications.

Окремо варто відзначити, що, незважаючи на використання штучного інтелекту для перекладу, текст книги читається досить легко, і більшість інформації подається зрозуміло.
