Автор майстерно використовує просту, але в той же час глибоку мову, щоб передати всі нюанси життя сім'ї Джордах, відображаючи в їхній історії бурхливі події Америки другої половини ХХ століття. Кожен персонаж має свою унікальну історію, і їхні стосунки сповнені напруженості та емоцій. Незважаючи на те, що переклад іноді має невеликі недоліки, це не зменшує загального враження від книги. Я б рекомендував цю книгу всім, хто цінує якісну літературу та хоче заглибитися в складні аспекти людського існування.
