If Vikenty Petrusenko investigated his first cases, in the first books, back in the Tsarist Russian Empire, now it is the Soviet Union, 1938. A very difficult time. And Petrusenko’s last case is also difficult: crime, politics, espionage... The action is dynamic, intense, but, as in previous books, there is a place for feelings and love. Everything happens in the hometown of Vikenty Pavlovich, in Kharkov... The novel clarifies the fates of all the heroes who met in previous books.

Вражаюче завершення серії!
Книга "Між вовком та собакою" стала для мене справжнім відкриттям і чудовим завершенням серії "Сищик Петрусенко". Автор вдало поєднує динамічний сюжет з глибокими емоціями, що робить читання надзвичайно захоплюючим. Вікентій Петрусенко, як завжди, демонструє свою майстерність у розслідуванні складних справ, і цього разу йому доводиться зіткнутися з криміналом, політикою та шпигунством у непростий час Радянського Союзу. Особливо вразило, як автор вдало розкриває долі всіх героїв, які з'являлися в попередніх книгах, надаючи їм нові грані та глибину. Незважаючи на деякі недоліки в перекладі, загальна якість тексту залишається високою, і це не заважає насолоджуватися історією. Я б рекомендував цю книгу всім, хто слідкував за пригодами Петрусенка, адже вона не тільки завершує його історію, але й залишає після себе багато думок і емоцій. Чудова робота!
