Роман Ж. Хейєр "Вільгельм Завойовник" - це захоплююча подорож в епоху, коли історія формувалася руками великих героїв. Авторка майстерно відтворює атмосферу нормандського герцогства та описує шлях Вільгельма до англійської корони, що дозволяє читачеві зануритися в події того часу. Хоча текст був перекладений за допомогою штучного інтелекту, що іноді призводить до незначних недоліків у формулюваннях, загалом, якість перекладу вражає. Це не лише історичний роман, а й глибоке дослідження характеру та мотивацій великого завойовника.
