Кентон, майстерно відтворює атмосферу того часу, показуючи боротьбу між язичництвом і новою вірою. Головна героїня, Аврелія, є яскравим символом сили та стійкості, її шлях сповнений викликів і рішень, які змушують читача замислитися над питаннями віри, моралі та людської гідності. Хоча переклад книги має деякі недоліки, загальна якість тексту не заважає насолоджуватися глибокими думками та емоціями, які передає автор. Я б рекомендував цю книгу всім, хто хоче зануритися у світ історії та пережити разом з Аврелією її неймовірну подорож.
