The main character is the archmage Paracelsus - a wizard of immeasurable power, sky-high self-importance and limitless craving for alcohol. Having crossed the bicentenary, he faces a crisis at a very late age - he falls into childhood and makes problems for himself. Only hallucinations, loyal and incorruptible, remain faithful to the archmage. He turns to them for advice on how to live further. They happily help as best they can - they send him in an unknown direction in search of adventure. Poor unknown direction... Poor vampire-elves, poor beastmen and others who are not lucky enough to fall under the stunning breath of the great magician, which is no worse than a liter bottle of alcohol. Poor common sense! Let him shout that what you are looking for does not always lie far away! Archmages do not look for easy ways!
