Two years have passed since Oleg Garin and Mikhail Stolyarov returned from the Zone. Stolyarov continues to serve in the SBU, Garin got married and went into business. But inexplicable events begin to happen again in the world: people disappear, planes and trains crash. In one of these accidents, Oleg Garin’s wife dies, and he can no longer turn a blind eye to these incidents. Lieutenant Colonel Stolyarov contacts Garin and confirms his guess: a series of disasters is not a coincidence, but signs of the influence of psi-weapons. Garin is driven by a thirst for revenge, and Stolyarov is driven by an officer’s duty, and both know well where to look for the developers of psi-weapons. So they return to the Zone.
