Річард Ейнсворт, господар готелю, з його саркастичним ставленням до життя та любов'ю до спокою, стає ідеальним героєм для цієї захоплюючої історії. Автор майстерно передає атмосферу французького містечка, де кожен персонаж має свою унікальну харизму. Взаємодія між Річардом і Валері д'Орсе додає сюжету динаміки та романтики, а розслідування зникнення та вбивства тримає в напрузі до останньої сторінки. Незважаючи на деякі недоліки перекладу, які незначно впливають на загальне враження, книга залишається дуже читабельною та цікавою. Рекомендую всім, хто любить детективи з нотками гумору та романтики!
