In the presented work, along with traditional issues of inheritance law, problems of the development of inheritance legislation are considered, the concepts of inheritance law are analyzed, and ways of its development are proposed. Along with the norms of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation, legislative and other acts adopted in pursuance of part three of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation are presented, law enforcement practice is examined, changes and additions as of December 1, 2016 are taken into account. In addition, the resolution of the Plenum of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation dated May 29, 2012 is analyzed No. 9 “On judicial practice in inheritance cases.” The book also provides a historical review of legislation and literature of different times, and provides a comparative analysis of foreign legislation on joint wills, inheritance agreements and inheritance funds. Additionally, 60 terms and definitions of inheritance law are proposed. The work will be useful for students and teachers of law schools, judges, lawyers, notaries and entrepreneurs, as well as for citizens interested in their rights and responsibilities.
