Книга "Вниз великою річкою" стала для мене справжнім відкриттям у світі фентезі. Діана Вінн Джонс знову вражає своєю майстерністю створення унікальних світів та персонажів. У цій частині циклу "Квартет Дейлмарка" автор переносить нас у часи, коли Річка була не просто водною артерією, а справжнім божеством для народу Річкового краю. Чудово описані традиції та вірування жителів, а також їх боротьба з чужинцями, які принесли злі чари, роблять сюжет надзвичайно захопливим. Я відчувала, як разом з героями переживала їхні страхи та надії, а також згадувала про власну магію, яка може допомогти в найскладніші часи. Хоча переклад тексту іноді має невеликі недоліки, це не заважає насолоджуватися історією. Рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто любить фентезі та хоче зануритися в світ магії, пригод і незабутніх персонажів!
