Історія Франсес (Фанні) та її непростий вибір між багатством і справжнім щастям розкриває глибокі теми любові, самопізнання та боротьби з соціальними нормами. Автор майстерно зображує внутрішні переживання героїні, її страхи та сумніви, а також показує, як важливо не піддаватися тиску оточуючих. Джоб Скеффінгтон, хоч і здається спочатку грубим бізнесменом, насправді виявляється чуйним і турботливим чоловіком, здатним дати Фанні те, чого вона справді потребує. Переклад, хоча й має деякі недоліки, не заважає насолоджуватися цим чудовим твором. Рекомендую всім, хто цінує глибокі емоційні історії та хоче замислитися над справжніми цінностями в житті!
