Zhuang Tzu (c. 396–286 BC) is the great Chinese philosopher of the Warring States period, along with Lao Tzu, one of the founders of Taoism. This book is named after him - a collection of parables, the greatest cultural monument. “Tao” – “path” – is the concept that underlies the teaching. This is a journey along the unknown road of life, an attempt to find oneself and feel the infinity of the world. Rightfully called the pearl of world wisdom, this philosophical treatise brings to us the ancient concepts of space and time, government, feelings and reason, creativity and happiness.
