Danish film director Carl Theodor Dreyer made 14 full-length films, survived the transition from silent cinema to sound and from black and white to color, between the filming of his great films, he worked as a newspaper critic and commissioned short films, and for decades nurtured the idea of a film about the life of Christ. The collection “On Cinema” includes interviews with Dreyer and his main critical and theoretical articles.
