The textbook consists of four books, which in an interesting and accessible form talk about the basics of artistic representation and provide information about the history of Russian and foreign fine arts from ancient times to the present day. The book "Fundamentals of Drawing" considers drawing as the basis of all plastic arts. It includes the study of issues of shape formation, volume transfer, proportions, and perspective. Students will master the ABC of drawing through practical assignments on drawing a portrait and human figure, a variety of still lifes, landscapes and thematic compositions. At the end of the book there are: answers to difficult questions, “secrets and mysteries” of masters of the fine arts and recommended literature.
