The hostel actively took part in the disintegration of the society of art students. It sucked the remaining bright beginnings of the students into its black pit, covering them with fetid moss and endless lichen. Anyone who came here decomposed under the influence of the ubiquitous cheap port wine, adultery of all kinds and types. Dirt, cockroaches, rats, bedbugs and other hellish mixture played the fool in the hostel, designating themselves as the supreme commander in chief. Smelly toilets, plague baths, vomit kitchens and rotting mattresses drove the hostel residents crazy.
