David Brin is an American science fiction writer, creator of the famous “Rise” series, which made him one of the most popular authors of “hard science fiction” of the 80s of the 20th century. Already Brin’s second work, “Star Tide,” received three prestigious awards – “Hugo”, “Nebula” and “Locus”. Among David Brin’s many literary experiments are the post-apocalyptic novel “The Postman,” filmed by Kevin Costner, the disaster novel “Earth,” about the collision of our planet with a black hole, and, of course, “Genesis,” which tells the story of an alien artifact that changes the lives of millions of earthlings.< /p>
