In his series of lectures on the four Gospels, Rudolf Steiner gave his listeners a deep insight into the spiritual content of this revelation. During this lecture activity, the results of spiritual-scientific research into the historical life of Jesus of Nazareth before his Baptism in the Jordan were also presented. Rudolf Steiner designated the results of his research as the “Fifth Gospel” or “Gospel of Knowledge.” In Russian, Rudolf Steiner’s lectures on the “Fifth Gospel” (PSS148), which he read in various European cities in 1913 - 1914, are published in full for the first time. The publication includes excerpts from “Memoirs of Rudolf Steiner” by Andrei Bely, who listened to lectures on the “Fifth Gospel” in Christiania (Oslo) in October 1913.
