Vladimir Kaminer was born in Moscow in 1967. Since 1990, he has lived in Berlin, hosting a number of programs on German television and radio, as well as a regular column in the largest newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine. In addition, he is the organizer of the so-called Russendisko - the most fun disco in Berlin. Kaminer writes his mischievous stories depicting the life of former Russian citizens in Germany in German.
