A young successful woman, Alexandra, is unexpectedly torn from the usual bustle of a brilliant life: having accidentally overheard a conversation between doctors, she decides that she is hopelessly ill. Alexandra decisively crosses out her past and present: she leaves both her interesting job and her Casanova husband, with whom she has long had only friendly relations, and goes to live in a remote village. The house in which she must quietly fade away seems uninhabitable, and it is unsafe there... However, it is in this house that Alexandra is destined to open a new page in life and, having overpowered herself, start all over again.
