Lieutenant Colonel of the Anti-Terrorist Center Konstantin Khromov learns about the death of his best informant, the Chinese Wenmin. Khromov urgently flies to the Far East to understand on the spot the circumstances of the death of a valuable employee. In the capital of the Primorsky Territory, unknown people are trying to kill Konstantin. He miraculously survives and, hot on his trail, begins searching for those who committed the assassination attempt. Very soon Khromov gets on the trail of a well-known Chinese terrorist organization and is surprised to learn that it was this organization that tried to destroy him. But why?..
