Ivan Petrovich Shuisky is famous for one victory. In 1581–1582 he defended Pskov, which was besieged by a first-class Polish-Lithuanian army with a large contingent of Western European mercenaries and excellent artillery. The besiegers were led by a hitherto invincible commander, King Stefan Batory. But this did not help the enemy: Pskov remained an impregnable stronghold. In fact, the city protected the rest of Russia from the deadly invasion of a powerful enemy. However, in addition to the well-known Pskov victory about Prince I.P. Shuisky has a lot to tell: he represents one of the most powerful aristocratic families in the Moscow kingdom, participates in many wars, campaigns, battles, experiences great glory and dies from court intrigues. This is one of the most remarkable figures in the inner circle of Tsar Ivan the Terrible. The publishing layout is saved in PDF A4 format.
