Kutolin Vladislav Alekseevich is a famous scientist, Doctor of Geological and Mineralogical Sciences (born in 1933) On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of his birth (2011) Vladislav Alekseevich Kutolin was born in Tomsk (1933) in the family of a prominent specialist in rare metals industry: (Laureates of the Stalin Prize for outstanding inventions and fundamental improvements in production methods, Kutolin’s elder brother S.A. (See about him in Wikiknowledge). Excellent memory, subtle humor, extraordinary mind of Vladislav Alekseevich, exceptional reading of Russian and foreign literature from his youth (Pushkin, Lermontov, Dickens, J.C. Jerome, Flaubert, France) were surprisingly combined in his youth with a variety of hobbies - hunting upland game, ballroom dancing, classical wrestling, photography, especially natural landscapes, sports shooting, skiing, swimming, and later “running from a heart attack” and spearfishing. Friendship from an early age with Vladimir Nikolaevich Dovgal, as well as the influence of his older cousin K.K. Levashev, who entered the geofaculties of Tomsk at the then TPI, TSU , most likely, influenced the fact that he entered the geological exploration department of the Tomsk Polytechnic Institute, and after completing a short work in a geological expedition in Novosibirsk, he ended up in graduate school at the Institute of Geology and Geophysics of the Siberian Branch of the USSR Academy of Sciences, where he defended his candidate’s thesis under the guidance of one from recognized world authorities - Academician Yu.A. Kuznetsov. Independence of thinking and the whispering of the black lips of the Earth allow him not to plant beans and not to engage in a casual analysis of other people's ideas, but, almost hurting himself, master an advanced course in chemistry, physical chemistry, and thoroughly study methods that were completely new to him - methods of mathematics and statistical analysis. Any assimilation is overcoming, overcoming not only the difficulties of the discipline itself, but also oneself, one’s laziness, which drives the tours on wheels from acceleration and without further conversations. And the hero of the day overcomes all this rigmarole with honor, and almost always confidently, untying his hands in mastering the horizons of the problems of petrochemistry, basalt petrology, understanding what is happening there in the Earth for about 50-70 kilometers, drawing attention to his theoretical developments as scientific Areopagus, as well as domestic and foreign seekers of truth from youth, among whom there are those who see the truth in the works of V.A. Kutolin and those who, like the Werther-Uslykkins, ring the bells of the anecdotes that they heard from their senior superiors, exchanging the Truth for small coins of idle thoughts. Particularly interesting are Vladislav Alekseevich’s views on the structure of the Earth’s mantle, which not only relieve the burden of Ringwood’s construction, but provide clearly reasonable interpretations of one of the most complex and confusing issues of the geology of the Earth’s upper mantle (1. “Websterite model of the Earth’s upper mantle” - 2010 - of the Earth's upper mantle and the origin of some igneous formations" - 2003) - 2010 report on websterite models" - Paying tribute to the current moment in time, which supposedly requires being torn into pieces and reducing everything to extracting a penny from theory, well, that not the “stickleback” theory, V.A. Kutolin extracts the pearls of the earth’s vale, turning them into “petrosite”, discovers methods for recycling “fly ash”, recommends the composition of creating unfired wall stone from waste rocks of local resources of the Novosibirsk region. It moves according to the principle - from complex to simple: “from brick to diamonds.” In a word, he instructs Practice with the Mind, playing the violin of Theory note by note. And in this strange method there is something from Wolf Messing, whom he becomes like in his old age. p>The text of the book was translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence program. For the most part, the translation of the text is of very high quality, but in some cases, due to the imperfection of the technology, there may be incorrect phrase translations in the text, as well as single words and expressions may not be translated.
