Книга "Тихоокеанська слава" вражає своєю глибиною та емоційною напругою. Автор майстерно поєднує історичні факти з особистими драмами героїв, створюючи багатошарову картину Другої світової війни. Пригоди Марша, Міка та Глорі захоплюють з перших сторінок, а їхні переживання та боротьба за виживання на фоні жахливих подій війни викликають співчуття та захоплення. Особливо вражає образ Глорі, яка, незважаючи на втрату, продовжує боротися за життя інших. Сюжет сповнений динаміки, і кожна битва описана так, що читач відчуває себе частиною подій.
