The book tells about the history, rulers, politics, economics, traditions, life, architecture, art and religion of the ancient people - the Parthians. They left almost no written evidence about their state. The official documents that have reached us are surprisingly few. Historical sources describe them as warlike, arrogant, hostile and deceitful barbarians with strange customs. The author, using data from archaeological excavations and scientific research, provides extensive, previously unknown information that is difficult to find in other sources.
