Автор майстерно передає атмосферу безвиході та жорстокості колонії, де кожен день — це боротьба за виживання. Головний герой, втікач, стає символом незламної волі та рішучості. Його пригоди сповнені небезпек і несподіваних поворотів, які тримають у напрузі до останньої сторінки. Особливо вразила детальна описова мова, що дозволяє читачеві відчути спеку та задушливість Гвіани, а також жорстокість наглядачів. Хоча переклад тексту місцями має недоліки, це не заважає насолоджуватися захоплюючою історією. Рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто любить пригоди, історію та сильні характери!
