Having privately taken on the search for the missing student Ksenia Logunova, the daughter of the chairman of the board of Domus Bank, the recent Murovets “detective” Georgy Syrtsov finds himself drawn into a whirlwind of partly expected, but mostly unforeseen events. Racketeering, skillful blackmail, adultery, contract killings - such is the atmosphere into which Syrtsov and his colleagues are immersed. Repeatedly risking their lives, the main character, his friend and teacher, retired colonel Smirnov, and their friends, former Murovites, eventually manage to find an organized gang of killers and unravel criminal connections rooted in the pre-perestroika life of the country.

Книга "Любити та вбивати" – це справжнє чтиво для любителів детективів і трилерів. Головний герой, Георгій Сирцов, виявляється у вирі небезпечних подій, коли береться за розслідування зникнення студентки. Автор майстерно створює атмосферу напруги та інтриги, де кожна сторінка сповнена несподіванок. Взаємодія між персонажами, зокрема між Сирцовим та його колегами, додає глибини сюжету, а їхні стосунки розкриваються на фоні небезпечних ситуацій. Окремо варто відзначити якість перекладу, яка, хоча й має деякі недоліки, не заважає насолоджуватися історією. Ця книга точно залишить після себе враження і спонукатиме до роздумів про моральні дилеми, з якими стикаються герої. Рекомендую всім, хто любить захоплюючі детективи з елементами драми!
