The book is based on a study of the texts of fairy tales written down in the 20th century. in the Asian and European parts of Turkey, as well as among the Turkish population of Bulgaria, the functioning of traditional Muslim East and specific Turkish mythological characters in the modern world is shown. A detailed description is given and the genesis of each mythological image found in the texts is shown, the problem of the preservation and loss of universal mythologies in modern fairy tales is explored, and much attention is paid to identifying mythological parallels.
